Wooster, OH – A new era begins in Wooster hockey!

The Wooster Bulls are thrilled to officially announce an affiliate partnership with the Carolina Thunderbirds of the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL) for the upcoming 2025-2026 season.

This strategic relationship creates a direct pipeline between Wooster and one of the FPHL’s premier organizations, giving Bulls players an unprecedented opportunity to be called up to the Thunderbirds roster throughout the season. Whether filling key spots due to injuries, call-ups, or playoff pushes, Bulls players will now have a chance to shine on a larger stage.

The Carolina Thunderbirds are no strangers to success. The team reached the FPHL Championship in 2025 and were crowned Commissioner’s Cup Champions in the 2018-2019 season. Known for their high-energy style, devoted fanbase, and championship pedigree, the Thunderbirds represent the gold standard of the league.
